Project Scope: Site development, specimen tree planting , bioswale construction, irrigation and paving, fencing, outdoor furnishing placement, custom paving, urban meadow creation

A multi-year project, the expansion of Children’s Hospital New Orleans took place while the existing hospital was fully operational. This required Lemoine, the general contractor, and their subcontractors on site, including Mullin’s crews, to work with extra caution and care as hospital patients, visitors, and workers traversed through the work site.

Throughout the duration of the project, Mullin installed over 20,000 square feet of decorative paver walkways, 10,000 shrubs, 100 specimen trees, and 2,500 cubic yards of soil and amendments.

The distinctive design successfully supports the overall purpose of the hospital’s outdoor space - to enhance the patient experience.
