Utility & Maintenance Technician
This position is responsible for operating landscape equipment and systems, assisting with property maintenance, and supporting daily field operations.
- Knowledge of 2 cycle equipment
- Knowledge of small equipment
- Knowledge of diesel trucks
- Knowledge of gasoline vehicles
- Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance
- Knowledge of safety precautions
- Hand, eye and foot coordination
- Understands, follows and transmits written and oral instructions
- Experience operating landscaping equipment and machinery preferred
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Experience towing trailers or operating skid steers is a plus
